Description: In Dec. 2019 @NeezyRevenge posted a photo that immediately had me feeling the warmth from the peachy background and the combined pistachio shirt with khaki trousers. I creeped and had to save it like you will see me mention a lot in these continued exerts. But to me these outfits are Art pieces that evoke a feeling and we are lucky enough that most of these images come at no cost. Immediately when I saw this photo I related the pastel colors to fluffy thin ribbons of mortadella and sun sliced zucchini. Normally with mortadella I’ve only experienced it with thick built sandwiches which takes me right back to middle school when I routinely went to a friends house at 2:30 pm where I would enviously watch her family freshly cut the mortadella on the slicer and stack it high onto soft luscious rolls. Ever since then I have associated it with an after school special. Flashbacks to Jansports and uptown’s. Taking all these old feelings jolted me to keep some of these elements and throw them onto a pie. I was hungry and wanted to get my idea into my stomach quick so I ran to my local pizzeria and bought a fistful of dough. (Pizza Centre) Shoutout to them they make pepperoni garlic knots that will make you punch through the glass to grab one. I had my dough and all ingredients at home ready to go. (Recipe:) I stretch out the fistful of pillowy dough onto a nonstick baking sheet cover with a dishcloth and let it sit to re-rise about 15 min. In the meantime I chopped up a handful of Pistachios into a bowl to elevate the pistachios in the morty, I added oil, freshly chopped garlic, salt and pepp. Also I happen to have a jar of cento pesto that I added a spoonful of mixed well and set aside. Next I thinly sliced the zucchini on a mandolin. Now time to assemble ! I have my ricotta, mozzarella, and graded cheese in the holster. I take the pistachio mix and brush it all over the dough, then add a layer of graded cheese, next place ribbons of the sliced mortadella and the thinly slices of zucchini, after add dollops of ricotta and tear apart pieces of fresh mozzarella (Packaged is good too- make sure its whole milk tho) Lastly add another sprinkle of graded cheese and drizzle of olive oil. Throw in the oven - before you remove make sure the cheese is bubbly with some brown marks and the bottom of the dough is crisp. Let it rest - cut up and enjoy on your couch shirtless in trousers and thoughts of a mesmerizing pistachio, zucchini outfit by @neezyrevenge
